I came home tonight and Susan was cooking up a storm! The first thing was this appetizer made with scallops and mushroom kabobs on fresh rosemary branches. They were outstanding.

Next was a stuffed chicken breast, that was pan seared and oven roasted served with sauteed summer squash and seasoned with lots of garlic and rosemary. This one would really be good on the grill. It came from one of the recent issues of Cooks Illustrated.

Tomorrow is a big day -- we sold a 5-course, gourmet meal, for 4, on a United Way Auction and the folks are coming tomorrow.

Here is a picture of the menu that Susan made for the dinner. It is printed on two sheets. The top sheet is translucent, with the menu details and the second sheet has the rose printed on it. My camera is not good enough to capture the details, so you will have to use your imagination.
