    Babyray,
I just take mine to a deep sink I installed behind my garage and let it soak overnight. Then I just wipe it down with a scrub brush and it comes out looking brand new. I found that they are a real pain to clean in the kitchen sink and I got many dirty looks from my wife. My deep sink was a good investment.[p]I suppose you could burn it off with a high temp burn but unless you have a couple of steaks to throw on while it is up that high, you are wasting lump.[p]Have a good weekend.[p]Spring Chicken

Babyray, just go to a hardware store and buy yourself a replacement round garbage can lid for two bucks. Inverted it will strattle your kitchen sink thus keeping the spouse at bay. Soak your grid in hot soapy water and clean with a brush.

One hint though is NEVER clean that grill extender using the time honored aluminum foil ball method - that stripped the chrome off mine in a flash!

    Babyray,
Take a large plastic bag, put in a sheet of newspaper folded to fit, put extender in bag on paper, pour a cup of ammonia on paper, seal and let sit overnight. That should soften thing senough that it will wash off with no problems.[p]SB
