spring assist band

hey eggheads....is there any difference in the bands between going from the old lever type to the spring assist type? I know that the rear in the spring assist will of course have the "spring assist" on it, but what about the bands? Is there any difference (will the holes on the lever style bands fit the spring assist assembly)? Also, are the "spring assist" assemblies the same size for the large and medium? Thanks!

    The bands from the old auto lock band will not work on the newer spring assist, the holes are not drilled in the auto lock band. The Medium and large hinges are the same but are configured differently for each one.

    So you need new bands for a spring assist band, which you will get when you buy it. Buy it for the size EGG® you have and you will be fine as you can't put a large hinge on a medium EGG and vice versa.
