Smoking Cheese??

edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
Nature Boy, and anyone else that would care to comment or add any tips on smoking cheese, I would be glad to try the "Guru" out. Being in Holmes county, where many different cheeses are made, I can get most any type in large quantity's fairly cheep! Thanks Nature Boy for the suggestion. I do appreciate it.

djm5x9, and I'll affirm it is good. You generously gave me a chunk and I took it home. My wife didn't seem all excited about it so a few days later I mentioned that I might just shred a bit and take it up to the neighborhood pool party to put on chili. "You're not going to take my good smoked cheese up there and give it away!" was the response I got from my wife. Needless to say, she tried it and is a convert.

Bill:[p]I have found that smoked cheese does grow on folks that initially do not take to it. It is late and I am headed up to Jefferson to swap out some cars. If I knew I would not disturb you I would drop off another brick of cheese and some tomatoes. Feel free to give me a call or stop by if you would like some . . .
