a few weeks ago. I used it yesterday to clean up after doing an overnight Sunday/Monday. Simple little tool that works great. I had never heard of it until he gave it to me.

I love mine. It works for cleaning grids and is a great tool for stirring the lump too.

Apply some oil from time to time, it will rust.

I always thought they would wreck the porcelain coating on a BGE grate, but have been told other wise that Hotlanta even sells them.

This brings up another question however tvj and others suggest that those of us with stainless steel grates should not use iron nor steel scrapers to clean them. Somebody just said the Billy Bar will rust which tells me it's not stainless.

It is NOT stainless.But it is very useful.
