Ribs in the fridge--how long?

I have a 3 pack of BabyBack's from Sam's Club in the Cryovac bag still. How long can I keep them in the fridge before I should consider putting them in the freezer?
I bought them last Tuesday night. The packaging says, Buy by 5/29/09.

I always use the buy by as the freeze by. I know you could probably go longer but Im kinda picky on that stuff.
