Put 2nd brisket on at 6:30 am; just the flat--
marinated in onion/paprika mixture since Friday...
oak and cherry
chugged at 200F dome until 11:30, then gradually went up to 240 range...,at 250 with meat at 180, not fork tender yet...family starving :whistle:

having fried onion slivers now to hold us all ;)

had last of buckboard bacon grilled with Vidallia onions, toast and Swiss cheese on the medium for brunch :woohoo:

hot smoked some red potatoes and some asparagus with apple chips in the medium, too...

hot, then rained (yes, Egret, we DID get some rain--but not enough to help :( )

pool draining into 30-somethingth hour--way too much sludge :( ; repairs to start tomorrow...sigh...
