Put 2nd brisket on at 6:30 am; just the flat--
marinated in onion/paprika mixture since Friday...
oak and cherry
chugged at 200F dome until 11:30, then gradually went up to 240 range...,at 250 with meat at 180, not fork tender yet...family starving
having fried onion slivers now to hold us all
had last of buckboard bacon grilled with Vidallia onions, toast and Swiss cheese on the medium for brunch :woohoo:
hot smoked some red potatoes and some asparagus with apple chips in the medium, too...
hot, then rained (yes, Egret, we DID get some rain--but not enough to help :( )
pool draining into 30-somethingth hour--way too much sludge :( ; repairs to start tomorrow...sigh...
