The butt that I cooked yesterday on the XL came out perfect :woohoo: I took it off the egg after 12.5 hrs when it reached 195.Delicious as always
I let it rest for about 30 mins,then went to pulling.I'm gonna eat well today and the rest of the week :cheer: Happy Memorial Day to all

Looks good buddy. Those 2 I started at 9 last night are still going at 2:20 today. Almost there temps are 180 & 185.

Doug that looks delicious! I have 2 butts coming off shortly. I hope they look as good as yours. This is only the second time I've ever made them. I didn't know they only had to rest 30 min.'s. I thought they had to rest longer than that in a cooler.

Wow! I'm at 180 also with mine. How big are your? I have (2) 8lb. Mine started around midnight. I'm sure yours are a lot bigger than that. I'm just wondering..who in the world eats all this food you make. You're always cooking just MASSIVE amounts of food. It amazes me and it's only you and Wendy.

Thanks Anne,normally I rest them for an hour or so,but you could rest longer.I was hungry and the great smell was killin me,so I went ahead and pulled it
I couldn't tell a difference
