Ground up a couple of pounds of brisket for burgers and decided to do a meatloaf. I may never buy hamburger again. Especially at the sale prices we're getting.

Well, I can't be accused of over handling the mixture.

You must be getting a heck of a price, I just came from our local store, $5.20 lb. I must say it was trimmed up pretty well and it did say whole. At first I thought it was a flat.
Your meatloaf looks great, I've been wanting to try brisket burgers but not at that price.
Cheers,

Same here Bordello! But then Butts are over 2.00 a pound and they are only 2-3 pounders  and forget ribs of any kind. :S I can get lobster for under 5.00 a pound though

That looks real good Barry!

You and I are in the same boat.........Hmmmm,
(Lucky Me) Sorry, couldn't help myself. :silly:
Butts here are also in the $2.00 a lb. range most of the time.
along with most meats unless ya catch something on sale
I will keep my eyes open for sales. Lobster is out of the question. :( Unless I've had Margaritas. That is how I ended up ordering a new laptop. :(
:woohoo:
Regards and a great weekend to ya,

Sounds like an interesting thing to do with some brisket, B-Man. I'm craving some meatloaf now

A couple of weeks ago brisket was 99-cents a pound. This weekend 87-cents a pound. We won't talk about lobster prices.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX

A found a sauce recipe I've been tweaking for a couple of years. Ketchup, chili sauce, dab of mustard and hot sauce, worchestershire and honey. Really good stuff.LBGE Katy (Houston) TX
