Immediately after the race the track will be stocked and there will be a Bass Tournament held. Just rednecks trying to stimulate the economy..

Thats about an hour north of us. They got a few more inches than us and the speedway has all their pumps out in the surrounding residential neighborhoods.

WOW I know the "lake" in our park on in Port Charlotte was way down when we left and talking to a friend that is still down there she said it is looking better. it has been a wet spring in FL. we sure needed it though!!

something I find interesting is in none of those pictures are there any debris in the water meaning the grounds crews must do a suburb job of cleaning.

Yea, who would have thunk it? We lived near the track back in an earlier life and it was like very dry all the time. Brush fires were frequent, mostly from cigarettes.
