Eggcited Doctor Visit
Spring Chicken

I visited my epidermal layer doctor yesterday and as soon as he walked into the examination room he broadly smiled and shook my hand very solidly, excitedly saying, "I'm sure glad you came in.
He said, "Just a couple of weeks ago my son started talking about the Big Green Egg. I told him I have two or three in the barn I brought back from Japan on a bomber over 40 years ago."
He went on to say since he last saw me a year ago he's been thinking of bringing them to the deck and getting back to cooking on them.
I couldn't shut him up as he explained how great the food is cooked on them, etc...
I gave him one of my cards and he got even more excited. I'm pretty sure he will be calling soon saying he cooked something on them.
You just never know who you might inspire when you start talking about the Egg.

So did he take a little off the bill?
Did you offer food?Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Just given a Mini to add to the herd. -
No dent in the bill but Medicare puts a sizable dent in it when they receive it.
I tried to offer encouragement, help, training and even a visit to the Chicken Ranch but I couldn't get him to stop talking about the Egg long enough to get my offers in. So I just gave him the card and suggested he visit my blog site.
He'll come around.

It was kinda neat, but I'm sure there are many Eggheads with similar encounters... After all, we do tend to brag about our little hobby a bit, don't we? LOL...
