didn't work either... you're missing the tags...

you should precede the link with "[ IMG]" and follow the link with "[ /IMG]", both of them WITHOUT the space after the [ ... I had to put it or else it wouldn't print.

There is a part in photo bucket that lets you copy the IMG link altogether...

    Hope this helps!
    Cheers!

Here is a nice snake Pato.

    Larry

    Whoa!!! Check this out!!!

THEY GROW 'EM BIG IN FLORIDA

97 lb rattlesnake found in Dixie County , Florida just north of Cross City
This snake was recently found near an old chicken house just north of Cross City , Florida

    ATT00009.jpg

A reminder that these creatures are actually out there and no matter
what you believe, sometimes they should get not only prescriptive
rights to be there but the full right of way!

9 feet, 1 inch - 97 lbs. - Biggest rattler found in Florida since Ross Allen captured one in 1969 that measured 9 feet, 1 inch also but only weighted 78 lbs. This old guy was found inside an open water tank near an abandoned chicken house.

    HOLY CRAP!

Imagine the bite of that thing!

I used to play with a friend's 10 foot python and he would bite all the time and roll in the arm and try to squeeze it... It was painful but they have only small teeth... imagine the size of the fangs of this animal... if you don't die from the poisoning you probably die from the stabing! hahaha

    Thanks for sharing!
    cheers!

just FYI... no need to post multiple posts as you try to include pics. just edit the existing original post until it works.

I'm pretty sure if you come up infront of this one, curled up, angry and ready to strike, you probably don't have any chance... as you say... just the blow, would know you out haha...

Actually saw an Easter Diamondback Rattler, like that one, but not nearly as big. It was dead and about 5 ft long - on the Mississippi coast. Ever since the decimating logging practices in the 1920's in south Mississippi, the EDR's have never grown as big as the ones in Florida.

Devastating bite from these suckers - worst venom of all US pit vipers (mainly because of the amount of venom injected).

    Hey Anne:

It's funny, when I read this I kept asking myself "ribs? what ribs?" then I remembered I posted one of 61chev's photos to show him/her how...

So the credit goes to 61chev... I'll take a picture later when I get home, hopefully the repairs haven't begun hahaha...

    Cheers!

You've almost got it. You just have to go to the "IMG CODE" and copy & paste it into here. Don't feel bad, we've all been there.

    Thanks, Beli.

I wish our weather would allow us to grow the things you can in MX. I love all the flowers when we visit Cancun!

Jana isn't a regular "dig in the dirt" kinda girl. Fortunately this wonderful landscaping was already here when we bought the house last year. I have kept the weeds under control and done a little trimming, but so far that's about all I've had to do. :woohoo: Except mow the grass.

i know once in the bahamas that i was served parrot and it wasnt all that bad. bahamian parrots are not that good to look at anyways, it was on one of the more rustic outer islands off abaco. better than conk, they can keep that stuff. i also ate some strange looking raw barnacles that day which were pretty good with just lemon juice and some hot peppers. bahamian guinness will do this too you watch out it has a bite, not like irish guinness at all
