Hey guys Im fairly new to egging, just got my first large egg at this years Oklahoma Eggfest and I am looking to purchase a thermapen thermometer http://www.chefsresource.com/thermapen.html

I have checked williams sonoma, bed bath and beyond but they don't carry the model im looking for. Do you guys know of any reputable websites that I can order one from? I have done some google searches with about a million sites and I just don't want to get ripped off. Thanks for your alls help!

Bubbu-Que is correct, Thermoworks will take good care of you. They are great people to deal with. You might give them a call to see if they have any refurbished Thermapens. Sometimes you can save a few more dollars just by asking.

There is a newer version of the Thermapen a lot of us are using and as in your post.

If you go direct the price, right now, is less than your web site.

The new version is still in pre-order stage, about 2 weeks out at this point and the difference in the new from the current is about $20.
