Lighting the BGE

Hola de Nuevo Mexico![p]It's been a while since I've been on the forum, but that doesn't mean I haven't been eggin' In fact, after a year, I'm eggin' more than ever.[p]For a while, I had trouble getting the BGE really going. I found a novel way to light the charcoal in a short period of time: I use a large Sterno below a charcoal chimney. After about fifteen minutes, the charcoal is well lit, so I transfer it to the BGE and let it go until it gets to the temperature I want. This isn't the cheapest method, but it's quick, odorless, and very clean.[p]BTW, talking about love affairs: I have pictures on my office wall -- of my family, my horse, and my Egg![p]Zen Cooker #1
