I went to the fest today and it was first rate!!!

It is small compared to Waldorf, but this is the first year, Fred did an outstanding job and I am confident it will be a going concern in years to come.

Fred has a fantistic store with more rubs and sauces than I have ever seen in one place before.

I met some nice folks and had some great food. I am hoping some of the recipes get posted.

I picked up 10 bags of Ozark Oak, a battery for my thermapen and some of Fred's new rub for burgers.

Hey Bob--you're really going to like the Ozark Oak lump. I drive a good distance through some nasty traffic to get mine. If I'm in a hurry and need some lump to cook that same day, I'll get some Royal Oak. However, Ozark Oak is my favorite. I've tried the Kingsford Charwood (no good) and B&B (too sparky for me) and always keeping coming back to O.O.

I agree it is great! I was in Arkansas and visited the factory in April and it could be had for $3.40/bag. I wish I could get it for that around here. It was exactly 3X that, with the discount from the fest.
