pulling out of the hotel at the crack of dawn 2 weeks ago, was in a little hurry, forgot the power cord to my travel refrigerator :



it arrived at my house a week later from the good folks over at Comfort Suites in this.. For $26.00 :unsure:



another week later, my good friends over at Prince Georges County Police Department mailed me this, a little hard to see, but they seem to think it’s a picture of my car going through a red light at the intersection of Route 450 & 3 :huh: , & they want me to donate $75.00 to the cause as a result of this alleged indiscretion.. :evil: something about a ‘Safe Street’ program...

OUCH. I was just a part of the fine PG traffic system this afternoon for a speeding ticket from December.
$160/+2 points reduced to $50/0.
Even THEY can't blame you for wanting to get out of PG in a hurry

see, I blame Wess for this, isn't he the real Prince of Georges County? As such, he shoulda warned me about the extreme sensitive nature of law enforcement down there, itchy camera fingers & whatnot. Of course, now that I think of it, a warning wouldn't have helped seeing is how is wuznt me :ermm: :huh:

LOL I guess I kinda missed that fact. Wish I could have used the "Uh...that was like....some other guy...or something" excuse.
Hopefully paperwork and faxes can take care of it. If you're forced to travel back this way I offer an open invitation to our place. I'll provide the eggs and camera and pay for ONE trip to the store, while you work your magic.

well, seeing is how there is no Eggfest-Defense-Fund, I guess I will have to buck-up & make my donation, those super-high resolution cameras with 2 billion candlelight flashes that flash 3 times when a violator is nearby (so I have heard anyway ), set up at every stinkin intersection on that miserable 30 mile stretch of road down there, must've cost a fortune :evil:

I got one of those too and I honestly do not remember going through a red light. Not even close. I had precious cargo in the back of my truck, but the pictures were a lot clearer than yours.

I am still not sure I actually went through a red light. Odd thing is they clearly show the red of the red light, but not my tail lights. They are always on.

Plus tey showed me as the only vehicle at the intersection. Again I don't ever remember being the only car on 301 at 3 PM.

Just weird..

I had a buddy get one of these things last year, but it was set up on a random stretch of highway somewhere outside of DC, the letter, with very clear photos, stated he was clocked at 75mph in a 45 or 55mph zone. The picture was so clear it looked like a still photo... he paid it

We paid the 75.00,but I honestly do not remember the red light. If the pictures did not show the eggs in the bed of my truck I would have fought it.
