Chris Lilly will be on the TODAY Show tomorrow morning to promote his new book. BIG BOB GIBSON'S BBQ BOOK which comes out tomorrow. I have only read the first 150 pages of the book yet it is Great!! It is a great book! We got to work with Chris this past weekend when he was in town and he gave us a copy. It is the perfect blend of stories, recipes, and techniques! I gave a copy to my friend who is just getting into Q.

This weekend, we got to make the following recipes from the book with him for a BBQ class he did on Friday night:
-the BBQ bacon wrapped basil stuffed shrimp (yum)(sorry but we did it on his Komodo Kamado, not an Egg although he spoke highly of the Egg;) )
-ribs
-slow smoked brisket (awesome)
-Turkey breast w/ honey maple glaze (good, but my least fav of the 5)
-airline chicken breast w/ basil butter (my favorite! Simple and kick ass flavor)
