Waldorf - Bananas w/ Butter Rum Glaze?

At Waldorf I had some bananas w/ a butter rum glaze. I picked up the recipe there but have since misplaced it. Does anyone have a copy they can post?

OMG...that would be me again. I'm really earning my title tonight. Here it is, I served these in OKC...on top of a slice of the rum cake, as my turn in on competition. The public really didn't have a chance to tast. But I did fix them in Waldorf. Have fun with it...you really can't mess it up...unless you add too little rum....ha

Blackened Bananas with buttered Rum Sauce

½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
½ t vanilla
½ cup Rum
8 large bananas

Put butter, brown sugar in a saucepan and heat slowly over the grill until butter has just melted. Stir in Rum and vanilla. Keep warm.

Grill unpeeled bananas over direct heat at about 300 degrees, turning until black all over. (approx 15 minutes or more)
Remove from grill. Slit to open and pull back skin. Scoop out with spoon and put in 2oz serving cup. Drizzle with sauce, add vanilla ice cream if you like.
