Hi all,
It has started to rain. I have the top vent open about 1/4 of the way. I have no way of covering the top, unless I can convince my wife to stand outside with an umbrella....I have no way of covering the top.
Do I have a problem with the small amount of rain that will get in?
Thanks.

Nope.
You can drape a piece of tinfoil over the top if you're real worried. -
No worries Bill, really!Molly

Sorry for the double post.
And thanks for the reassurance!
After ranting and raving to my buddy about what this egg can do, it would be a bummer if it was not up to par. -
Depending on how hard it is raining, but probably not.
If you are concerned grab a metal coat hanger and make a 'halo' of sorts. Have the to Circle at an angle so the water will drip/run down on the dome - you don't want the water puddling in the foil.
Use some aluminum foil to cover the DFMT.
