I just now set out a 9.5 pork butt. That should be plenty of time to thaw for saturday right?
Thanks
Thanks

If it is frozen solid and you are keeping it in the fridge, I doubt it will thaw by Saturday. The good news is that you can put it on the egg partially frozen and it will cook OK.
You can keep it in water (in the fridge) and it will thaw faster. You can also keep it in a bucket full of water under 40* the day of your cook to help it along. -
I was going to keep it out tonight on the counter then in the morning put in the fridge or is that unsafe.
Thanks for input Fidel. -
Oh no -- bad idea.
Gotta keep that sucker under 40* until time to cook it.
