Tiny tri-tip

I have 1.5 lb. tri-tip. I've never cooked one because I could never find one in any of the stores nearby. It looks tiny to me. Can they be bigger? Anyway, how do I cook it? Does it need to be marinated?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I got some tri-tip but they were not as big as some of the posts I seen. Since they are tiny I would put some rub and cook it direct at 400. I did some fajitas last night using some tri-tips that were marinated for about 2 hour. They were triangle shaped so I had to flip them on three sides to cook them. I let them cook 2 min. per side until I got the doneness I wanted. Hope this helps.

although pulled at 126 and rested will put final temp in the 130's a bit much for me. but i like rare.
broc recommends wrapping in foil and a towell and rested in a heated cooler for an hour i pull at 105 in the thick part and do that.. rest seems to make it tender
