pizzastone / platesetter
test day with my new pizzastone/platesetter, it worked awsome i cut it from a chunk of 3cm or 1 and a quarter inch granite slab it weighs almost 11kg or 24 lbs. it took 25 minutes to heat to 425f and stayed there for all three pies. beautiful crust much better than the stoneware pizzastone that i was useing. e-mail me for pics. jeff@imi3.com

theres a place up here that brings hot granite slabs to the table and they let customers cook their own meat on the sizzling slabs. you would need to find a way to move the hot granite to the trivet but i like the idea. my pizza stone is soapstone, works greatfukahwee maineyou can lead a fish to water but you can not make him drink it
