As Dale mentioned it and many of you have witnessed it takes time and money to pull these off.

Here is the list I have and how much I need to pull it off.

May 25th. VMM-262 Osprey Aviation Squadron 500+ Marines and family. $500.00 Funded!!

May 29th. 4-73rd CAV, Ft. Bragg. 500 Solders and Family $500.00 * this is actually fully funded thanks to a specific donation.

July 2nd 7th Transportation Battalion 3600 soldiers and family $3,600

July 11th. Navel Reserve Raleigh 400 sailors/Families $400.00

Aug 29th. 3 Special Forces Ft. Bragg. 3000 solders $3,000

I am in the process of forming a 501c3, but that takes money too. All the filing fees will run around $1,200. So far every dime that has donated to me has gone to feeding the troops. Donations of any size are welcomed..

If you can donate your time to help cook and server that too is more than welcomed.

just a quick question about previous donations. is your group "BBQ-for the Troops" or is it separate from them?

I think you said before that "BBQ for the Troops" is registered as a501c3. Was that the Fort Bragg one not too long ago? Does our contribution go to you or them for that one (sent to your paypal)?

My donation wasn't very big, but I'm self-employed (with almost a 50% tax rate when all is said and done between State and Fed, Self-Employment Tax, etc.), so even a little helps.

cool. i think it was the March 13-12th thing I donated to. I dunno.

it wasn't a big donation, so if the 501 thing isn't off the ground yet, not a big deal.
