Hello all, My name is Eric Mitchell from NH. I own 6 Big Green Eggs and do competitive BBQ throughout the northeast. I am also a Director of the New England Barbecue Society (NEBS).
I would to “spread the word” on a couple of egg related events.
!. On July 4th weekend I will be competing at a contest in Lake Placid, NY with my eggs. There is also going to be the Junior World BBQ Championship there on the 3rd and 4th, which is open to competitors between the ages of 16 and 21. I would like to offer the free use of my eggs to a junior team( see www.ilbbqf.com ). Proceeds go to the Shipman Youth Center, a nonprofit.
2. I will be helping and using my eggs at an hands on BBQ cooking class put on NEBS in Maynard, MA on May 9th and 10th. This an overnight class( see www.NEBS.org and look under “2009 schedule of events”). NEBS is a not for profit organization. If interested, please contact Jed by Thursday.
My hope is that a New England junior team might like to attend one or both.
Thanks,
Eric
