felt seal

I've had my BGE for a little over a year and the felt seal on the rim has already been pulled off. The felt is not torn at all. can it be reconditioned and reused. if so, what should i use to clean it and what adhesive should be used to reinstall it. I'd appreciate any advice i can get.
