Posting pics - a question for the computer geeks

When posting pics, does the pic simply have to reside on the server, or does it have to be on a page? I can FTP pics from home to the server I use, but don't have the webpage software at home. Usually when I post a pic, I put it on the page, then hit properties, copy the ufl and paste it into the field in the new post section. Any time I've tried to simply write it in, I've gotten it wrong...[p]QBabe

QBabe,[p]It can just be on the server. A webpage just links images from the server anyway. All you will need is the http address of your folder on the server i.e. http:www.somewhere.comqbabe

Ok now I am doing the typo, of course you would place the correct http prefix:[p]http://www.somewhere.com/qbabe/nameoffilehere.gif

I'm having trouble with a pic I put on a couple days ago...I can see it from my home computer...others are able to see it...but I can't see it from my office computer or at my folks house...Is there something in internet options that is not set???[p]Ryan
