Last night I made these rather simple beef kabobs including onion, green pepper and mushrooms and then served on a bed of white rice. I was afraid the flat iron steak could get overcooked but it was very tasty. BTW I cut the meat into strips and then marinated them for 6 hours in Veri Veri Teriyaki.

I'll use flat irons for these again!

That looks awsome Ron. I was thinking of doing a very similar cook this week myself and that just sealed the deal I believe.

Just got back home from a weekend in hell but I did have two pound's of flat iron in a soy and garlic marinade waiting for me when got back. That looks tasty on this end and will give that a try.Looks like you did a 450 to 500 hundred direct cook for about three minutes per quarter of a turn to do the cook.Cheers.

yup, 450° direct but only cooked for 4 minutes and flipped. I overcooked a flat iron once for some dumb reason. It's one cut that gets ruined if overdone so since Pat and I prefer more rare I took no chances and it worked fine. Good luck with yours! Now...weekend in hell? hope there's no lasting consequences!

Veri Veri is the Veri best when it comes to teriyaki sauce. Good choice and good kabobs. I'll have to try flat iron next time.
