How many racks can you get on the large
Want to do about 9+ racks of ribs this weekend. How many racks can you get on the large at one time? We have a rib rack that holds four racks and we have stretched it to do 5, but is there a way to get more than that? Obviously this will require more than one burn. If you make them in advance what is the best way to reheat? Thanks guys!

10acgal,[p]I have done 6 at a time but I know there are some here that have done more than 6.....they've posted pictures for proof.[p]The archives from last year should have it....

Someone just posted a pic not long ago of doing 20 racks if I'm not mistaken. As you might figure, it was some guy in south Louisiana. We always gotta figure a way to do more...

Here is a picture of 6 racks of baby back ribs(14lbs.) I cooked Fathers day.I could have put one more rack on each side and laid 2 on top.The best way I have found to keep ribs warm is put hot water in a cooler for about 10 minutes.Pour the water out and wrap ribs in foil and put in cooler.They will stay hot for hours.

Yep, that was from Wil. He is a chef in a restaurant down in the New Orleans area, as I recall. He said he just sort of leaned 'em to one side or the other now and then to help the heat distribute better. Some claim to be only able to count 18 racks in the photo, but I say so what?! 18? 20? Dang!!! :-)[p]TNW

The Naked Whiz,[p]I'm telling you, one more rack and he could have snuffed out the fire. Just add in that rack with an hour left of cooking time and it could have shut the Egg down while the other racks finished cooking. No need for a ceramic cap![p]Later,
