  • QBabe,[p]Looks great! You have to try this recipe (it's from my late Mom and she didn't measure anything, so bear with me & taste often while mixing!) on the egg. It's delish![p]2 sticks butter (not margerine)
    garlic powder
Dry Italian seasoning (basil, oregano, parsley flakes, etc)
shredded/grated American cheese (yes American cheese, it melts better)
Quality parmesan cheese[p]Soften the butter, then add all ingredients. Mix thoroughly into a paste. Make sure the cheese is incorporated thoughout the mixture. Taste and adjust ingredients as required.[p]Spread the paste onto Italian bread kind thick (1/16" thick)
I originally put 'em in the broiler, but now I cook them indirect in the egg at around 400F. The butter melts thru the bread and the cheeses melt & brown on top.[p]It's really, really good![p]Jeff

QBabe, I watched the same show and decided to try it. The wife says, "we can do our garlic bread that way from now on!" It was good![p]LVM
