Cooked up a couple of Pizza Pies for lunch. I had roofers on the roof scratching their heads to see me put a pizza on the grill. They were very interested in the whole evolution. To bad they finished before it was done We had plenty to go around. :)

Eddie It looks great!! Is that how you cooked it? If so thats how I used to cook mine but if you can get it up higher in the dome the crust is that much better.IMHO Peppers.. I love me some peppers!! ;)

  • Funny you say that, I have been experimenting with dough and temps. This time I went 500* and the crust was a little soft in the center compared to 400* I have been wanting to get a raised grid so now may be the time. The pizzas are excellent but I would like a browner crust. It needs more heat under the stone.

It was finally a good Saturday for pizza on the Jersey Shore too. I cook them at 450º on a raised grid. All was well except I learned that the Egg isn't level
