Chip in Egg

I bought my egg 2 weeks ago and I didn't notice a 1/4 inch chip near where one of the bands is located. It looks like it has been touched up with some sort of green paint. Is this a problem? I don't know if it was chipped at the factory or chipped while it was assembled by the store? Should I take it back and trade it out? I'm not sure they would even take it back because I have cooked on it probably 10 times. If it had a small chip in it and it had not been touched up I might have thought I somehow had chipped it. Thoughts?

If there are no cracks radiating out from it I would not worry to much. I would take a pic and show it to your dealer and ask about it maybe. just to put it on record for any problems down the road. Julie
