Metal top for medium

Hi, I have two eggs a large and a medium. I just had to replace the metal top on the medium and to my suprise my dealer told me that the top on the medium and the large are the same. My old metal top and ceramic top on the medium is quite a bit smaller than the large has anyone else run into this? Thanks

I also have a large and a medium, both in the 3-5 year old range. The tops are identical and I regularly switch them without thinking about it.

Are the holes in the top of the medium and the large about the same size? mine are quite differant.

Not trying to be sarcatsic,but can your medium actually be a small? My 5yr old medium has the same size tops as my 2-3yr old XL.

You were right, I actually bought a small metal top from my dealer and it was too small, so I thought I was wrong that I had a small. Just measured the grid and in fact it was 13" so I was right to begin with but the small metal top does not fit so I don't really know what to do. Thanks.

Just went back to local dealer. He insisted that the top was for the small and not the mini. This time I took my old top and he checked and found out that he did give me a top for a mini. He thought they both took the same top.
