I was looking at a frozen Capon at the market today, I understand they are supposed to be more tender, anyone have eggsperience with these???? 9 pounds about $22.50[p]Thanks,

A capon (or castrated chicken) is supposed to be tendor, since after the operation, they tend to get fat and lazy. My dad (the butcher) tended to bring home capons over regular chickens for roasting since they are more tender.
Never tried them on the egg, but have had a lot roasted in ovens. Personally, I'm not sure they are worth the extra price. If you cook your chicken right, you can get it as tender as a capon (and besides, my mom wasn't the greatest cook therefore needed all the help she could get...I didn't say that!).
