i have a lamb thigh a friend froze last week that is leftover from a Greek-type dinner that he wants me to cook on the egg for Easter. Any suggestions on technique, seasoning, cooking, cutting etc? i've never done a lamb leg before.

Look in the recipe section. There are a couple of good recipes there.
It's under "Cookbooks" at the top of the page. -
I just got done doing one and it turned out really tasty.
1 boneless leg of lamb, 4 to 6 pounds, butterflied
4 cloves garlic
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 tablespoons Dijon or strong brown mustard
1 tablespoon dried rosemary
1 tablespoon dried oregano
1 tablespoon dried spearmint
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons black pepper
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
Grilled direct at 350°F for about 40 minutes.
