I'm trying to figure out the dynamics of stacking a Mini. How thick are the 8.5" pizza stones?

Ohps, read it wrong. I would say 3/8-1/2"

Eddie, no that was Vidalia1. He had a prototype that he used in Ocala and I don't think it's available yet.
DDD, this is how I stack it, but you do have to load up the mini with lots of lump and let it all come up to temp:
Also, there's not alot of room in there with the dome closed so you have to make sure what you are cooking is "thin", like a pizza!

Is there any interference with the thermometer with this setup being so high in the dome?
