Had a great night cook last night! Woke up the morning to a 248 degree dome! NICE! It was in the 20's last night too!
14 pounds of pork now shredded and in the crock pot waiting for supper. Now what? The egg is just sitting there wanting to cook something. Any ideas (that are easy on the pocket book)?

How about smoking some cheese?? I've never done it myself but everyone that has says it's fantastic, especially the swiss.

Get some portobellos....kick egg up to 500 & add your favourite cheese......Gorgonzola my favourite........and whatever else you have around.....bacon.....cilantro etc!!!

Thanks!
Might have to try both of those ideas. By the way... Reelgem, I will be in Sabinas Hidalgo this summer for a while! I hear its hot down there right now

sorry... the Sabinas comment was for Beli.

Have to agree with Beli on this one.You more than likely don't have that much lump left so it has to be a quick cook. Also might think shrimp or chicken breast or London broil. The smoked cheese is a whole new ball game and it would be a hard thing to do with the leftover lump.Check the Naked Whiz site on this and you will see what I mean.

I just cooked up a batch of lime soup and I'm going to pound flat a few chicken breasts and powder them with Jamaican firewalk and grill them direct at about 350-400 they get done as quick as a burger.

I just tossed some baked beans in a cast iron pot with a little of everything I could find in the kitchen. Should be ready in a few hours. TASTY (I hope)
