Beef Tenderloin results - thanks to max

Wow!!! Thanks to mad max beyond eggdome for his help with the beef tenderloin. It was delicious!!! Only thing I did different was add some jack daniels chips to the fire. we like the jd chips with steaks.[p]here is a pick before it goes on...

    i'm thrilled that you got such good results. . .that piece of meat looks righteous. . .almost started licking my monitor :) . . . jack daniels chips sounds like a great way to go as well . . .[p]if you like your tenderloins, price club sells whole 'choice' ones for about $8.00 a pound. . .i buy them now, cut off the large end into a chateaubriand, then cut 4 good 2" thick filet mignions, and save the tails from two or three for chili. . .the whole tenderloin costs about $55.00, but for that i get 2 1/2 meals for my family of four. . ..pretty good deal. . and they aren't hard to 'butcher' and trim on your own. ..
