A three week BGE newbie here. But I think I am addicted already. I find myself obsessing about what I am going to cook next on the BGE. Is there a recovery group for folks like me?????[p]I must say that this forum is really where it is happening. I love to read cookbooks, but I have switched to reading the BGE forum. Not to minimize the ladies who contribute, but I am totally fascinated by you guys who are so passionate about cooking. Maybe there is hope for a man who looks at a peanut butter, jelly and pickel sandwich as fine cuisine?? [p]Thanks to TNW who educated my husband this week-end to the fact that you don't have to heat a BGE up to 500 degrees and then let it cool down to 250 degrees for a low and slow. And a huge thank you to BlueSmoke who got me through our first rib cook with a johnny-on-the-spot answer to a panic-filled email late Saturday evening. [p]For you folks who were chatting about an EggFest in Florida, please keep me posted. We're on the Space Coast and we have Egg....will travel! [p]poqal
