here's stoopidity in action. i once poured a little acetone (we used to use it to clean drafting boards) into a styrofoam cup.

my bro uses toluene to thin (and clean) highway paint. the stuff they use for lines and parking spaces. i was helping him once clean some stencils, and i was wearing gloves. after a few minutes washing some number stencils (like for parking spaces), i took my hands out and the gloves were little more than cuffs, and the fingers and chunks of the hand parts were floating in the toluene. he said "that's why i don't bother with gloves".
