Scratching my head again tonight. I think one has to do with an issue of a hot fire in dire need of more air. The other has a different cause and effect. I guess many of you really enjoyed the 60's.

    Why, oh why…Would you venture to say such a thing?
    Of course the 60’s were good……Along with the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and I hoping for a good run in the 2000’s too!
    BTW, I had my first real (bad) flashback yesterday! I had my beard, eye lashes and eye brows on fire……What a rush man!!!!

    Flashback or Backdraft - Same effect - Same cause.

    Both are caused when heated volatile gasses come into contact with an oxidizer. Burns very hot very fast..

    Backdrafts are more associated with firefighting and can be deadly.

    Flashbacks just mess up your hair.. Well the lack of it after the flashback... If you don't warn your wife it could happen if she opens the lid they can be deadly too. :woohoo:
