"Extra Lean Pork Center Cut Loin Filet"

edited November -1 in EggHead Forum
The wife returned from the grocery store with a 1.83 pound pork loin as referenced above. It looks like a big package of Jimmy Dean Pork Sausage (except it's a pork loin)....I mention that only so you can envision the size.[p]Any ideas on cooking time and temperature? Thanks in advance.

    <p />Grill Boy,
Here is a picture of a 2lb pork loin I cooked on the small egg. This was stuffed with 3 different white cheeses and took 45 minutes to reach 145°.

    Grill Boy,
They cook pretty fast, and a polder to watch the temp is necessary. I start em out (direct) hot to sear the outside, and then shut down the heat to allow them to cook. [p]On my way out to a graduation party right now...No BGE food, probably leftover gaggy dry ham sandwiches and cake...[p]Mike in MN
