Hi Gang,[p]Lunch today will consist of the 3 bones "ends" from a couple of Memorial day babyback slabs. You know, this is the part that cooks up just as well, but is not as pretty for presentation to guests.[p]I like to sauce em during the last part of the cook and went into the garage fridge to peruse the Q sauce collection. There were 5 or 6 open bottles of good ones here, but none that seemed appealing today.[p]The current issue of Cook's Illustrated has ratings on Supermarket BBQ sauces as well as a recipe on their website for homemade sauce.[p]With all the ingredients as well as time on my hands, I tried their recipe. It's quite good actually and a bit different than anything I've purchased lately.[p]For a change of pace, give it a try. The yield is only 1.5 cups. About enough for one meal.[p]K~G
