    A.K.A. The Superdude,
Mike O's grilled pineapple is (and has been) our favorite. See link below. If you look in the New Recipe section a few names down from this recipe, he also has a fruit kebob recipe that is killer.
I'm sure you'll get plenty more ideas to follow!
    Cheers
    Chris

A.K.A. The Superdude, The best dessert I have ever had(not counting everything at Arnauds in New Orleans) was Mrs Puj's Danish Apple Upside Down Cake with a Maple Syrup/Rum Drizzel on top, cooked at Octoberfest 2002. It is detailed in the Forum archives.

  • A.K.A. The Superdude,
try this baked apple recipe from brett brown. . .he did it at waldorf and they were excellent. .i did them last weekend and they were equally good. . .my only change was that lacking grand marnier, i put a splash of Armagnac on the last 15 minutes. . ..a really exquisite desert that will impress your guests. ..[p]Turkish Baked Apples
(my own recipe with an assist from QBABE)[p]medium sized apples (I used Gala and they worked pretty well)[p]stuffing:
equal parts medjool dates (seeded), apricots, and hazel nuts, chopped in a food processor. Add enough brown sugar to bind it all together.[p]Dig out a good size well in each of the apples and put in the stuffing. Place in a baking dish and put a pat of butter on top of each apple. Fill dish with 3/4 inch of water. Bake in the egg at around
350 indirect for an hour or more, until the sides of the apples are sift enough. Add a splash of gran marnier to each apple the last 15 minutes of cooking (it really brings the dish together).
