No comparison to ribs I've cooked over the years on the Weber kettle.
The pics tell the story...
Membrane removed
Rub applied
Woodchips
Settings for 225 (took me 90 minutes to stabilize there)
Just put them on
About 2 hours in
About 4.5 hours in
Happy kids
Leftovers

Look great.
Nothing better than making the kids happy with a slab of ribs.
-
Amazing, kids eating ribs. If it's not fried or fruit, mine aren't touching it. Great looking family, and ribs too.
-
We try to eat a wide variety, and the kids are used to trying different things. They all loved the ribs. Even the 17 month old. The photo of him is a trick -we pulled the meat of the bone for him, he didn't actually gnaw it off himself.
My 8 year old has been begging for ribs for a while, so I knew when I got the XL last week that I would have to cook some up.

If the kids like it you must have done it right. My kids had no problem criticizing anything they didn't like. Good looking bunch.

Thanks. Credit goes to my wife.
Tonight she says, hey you have cooked the last three nights (burgers, pizza, ribs)... how many nights in a row can you go?
We have salmon and pizza queued up to make it 5 in a row. Had to do pizza again to redeem the disaster I had on Saturday.

HI Bash
Great looking ribs and kids,
Now, Please give me the recipe as I
am cooking baby backs for first time
tomorrow. I have dizzypig dizzy dust
ready to go ,ha ha Thanks BullyC -
I took the advice of others on this forum, and used the carwash mike recipe on the Naked Whiz site. I used the rub he has in his recipe section. Turned out a little too salty for my taste, with how much I put on.
Next time I think I'll look for a different rub - but that's just me.

Those are some nice looking ribs! and the proof is th ehappy kids!
Well done -
Repeat after me:
