High Heat Band Loose

Here's a first. I'm doing a 700* cleaning of the egg and I went to open the top and the band is loose...Still able to easily open the lid. Should I worry about this or will it settle back into place when the temp goes back down? I assume I need to leave the band as close to the gasket/opening as possible for cooling?

I would let it cool and then tomorrow tighten the band bolts just to be safe.
Don't tighten them while hot. -

Tighten them on the back of the egg, or do the bolts on the handle tighten? Thanks, as always. It's already "tightened" with the temp falling to 500*... -
Tighten the bolts that hold the two ends of the band together. They are on the rear side close to the hinge assembly.
