CI Grid or Regular?
Options
Blue Ridge Smoke

My CI grid is seasoned and ready to use. When do you used the CI over the regular grid? I'm thinking anything direct can use CI, otherwise regular.

I use the CI grid for everything at all times. The regular grid goes on for overflow.

This was what I was thinking -- when I don't want the grid to heat the food, regular. CI for when I do.

I will certainly experiment. You don't have issues with the CI "cooking" the food on long 'n slow cooks?
