Deer burgers

I'm cooking deer burgers tonight and was wondering about what temp to cook it. With deer being leaner than beef, will 350 degrees take too long and dry it out?

Had 'em last night - GREAT! Dome temp 400, put patties on. Wet maple chip are just awesome to add to the hot coals just b4 putting patties on. Not alot of shrinkage to deer patties so maybe a little thicker than a regular hb patty. 3-4 minutes per side, 3 flips will leave a nice X grill mark. Add cheese and shut it down top and bottom. Remove patties after 2-3 minutes. Let us know.....

It all depends on how much fat is mixed in with the deer. I like to put about 40% beef fat with my ground deer. I grill it around 350-400 direct fairly close to the fire. Just a few minutes per side until 130 internal.
Here's some that I did not too long ago.

Good luck
