Medium Adjustable Rig inquiry

Anyone know when or if this product will be made? I am inlove with mine for the Large, but would like to have one for the Medium.

I get the question every so often for the medium and small egg. It's not so much can we or when will we offer a medium rig, it’s more are they worth owning.

I fabricated several medium rigs early in the rig development, including one for my medium egg. Pic is one of the later rig versions. Basically, 1/2 inch shorter the large rig, welded crossbars on the bottom ring to hold the stone and BGE's small (13") porcelain grid for use inside the rig as a second grid.

Now this sound good but in reality, the 13.5 inch round by 5 inch tall usable area inside the rig is just too small to do anything with. Plus, it is a tight fit to get at the lower small grid, so grilling on the small grid is a hard go.

We found the medium rigs became an over designed medium woo2 – best use being raised, direct or indirect, one grid set-ups. So, we just offer the medium woo2.

As mentioned, we can make a medium adjustable rig, but unless you have a specific use, I'll try to talk you out of it. Just not the biggest bang for your buck!

Thanks for the reply. EXACTLY what I was needing to hear. I appreciate you taking the time to explain. I'm going to fabricate just an extended grid that'll fit some of my needs. I really just want more space.

With the rig on the large it's so awesome to have that indirect stone way down in there on the spider. It's absolutely perfect.
