Tritip for 30

I am going to cook 6 tritips for 30 high school soccer players (boys team dinner) tonight on two eggs. Any advise?? I am wondering if I should marinate??? I was planning on doing 2 on each egg and then starting 2 more for late comers. Do you think I could do 3 on each egg?? I could recruit War Eggle my neighbor and get his egg fired up and bring the meat over>

I think you could 3 or 4 on each egg. Remember to allow time for the rest period. I like to cook direct at 450/500. I think it takes about 20 minutes for a 135/140 medium rare steak. I use DP's cowlick or Raising the Steaks rubs for my Tri-Tips. Good luck to all. Tom

If you want brisket, marinate the tri-tip. If you wnat tri-tip, don't marinate the tri-tip.
You can easily do three on a large.
