Pizza stone for small

I need some suggestions for a pizza stone for the small egg.

  • 12" BGE stone. That is what I use and mother ship sold me for my small. It does work best up high. I put plate setter feet down and use 3 - 1" copper pipe spacers between setter and stone.

I did not see a stone listed for small egg.
I have a stone for medium. I will go measure it.
We just got the small and dont have any eggcessories yet. Not sure what is available or how we will use it.
I think that a cast iron grate is available.

The 12" stone will work fine for the Small Egg...(with some qualification).

Keeping in mind...placement of the stone will determine it's performance, and your gasket's longevity!

I spent most of my money on good bourbon, and bad women...the rest, I just wasted!!
